  6. FILENAME: THREE.LMP
  7. PURPOSE:  To show how to properly get to the SECRET LEVEL in DOOM ver 1.1 (will
  8.           not work in DOOM ver. 1.0)
  9. REASON:   A recorded DEMO file I acquired previously was for DOOM ver. 1.0 and
  10.           did not work with my new updated version, so I recorded this one...

  12. HOW TO USE
  13. ----------

  15. First of all, this is a demo file.  It will play back a recording of one of my
  16. sessions on the gratest gave ever developed for a PC; DOOM from id Software.  I
  17. am not affiliated with id Software in ANY WAY OR FORM, and will not be held
  18. LIABLE for ANYTHING!!!!!!!!! <grin>
  19.  
  20. Just place all these files in the DOOM directory and type "DEMO3" (no quotes)
  21. at the DOS prompt, or if you like, do it directly by typing ...
  22.  
  23. C:\DOOM>DOOM -DEVPARM -PLAYDEMO THREE [ENTER]
  24.  
  25. P.S. Experts know how to do this, novices do not type in the "C:\DOOM>" part
  26.      nor the "[ENTER]" part... <grin again>
  27.  
  28. When you have finally learned from my TEACHINGS (hahahaaha) you may try it
  29. out on your own.  Remember to hold the SHIFT key down while you run up the
  30. stairs to get to the ALCOVES, I do mean RUN FAST!.

  32. By the way this is LEVEL THREE of DOOM 1.1,  when you see the end of this demo,
  33. if you were actually playing, you would be in the secret level, when you finish
  34. IT, you'll be dumped back onto level THREE in order to finish it and move onto
  35. level FOUR. Happy SHOOTINGS.....
